Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, we do not have any physical exhibitions at this time. We are working on a virtual exhibition platform. In the meantime, there are many options for you to view our collection from home!

  • Visit the Virtual Collection to view images and descriptions of some of our most interesting artifacts.

  • Check out our YouTube channel for oral histories and Look Into the Archive, our new video series.

  • Read the RM  Journal for fascinating content about tyranny, dictatorship, and social issues, as well as updates on our collection.

The content of this museum includes topics of a sensitive nature and may be offensive to some people. All material, physical, audio, and visual, are solely presented and used for scholarly and educational purposes. We do not support or promote the regimes or their ideologies in any way. We seek to present the history of these dictatorships as they were in order for individuals to better comprehend the phenomenon of dictatorship and repression throughout the history of the 20th century and the diverse cultures these entities took root in.
